Volume Hiring 101 – Adopting Marketing Techniques (Performance Based)  ·
Browns, Covent Garden, London

About the Event

It’s 2019 and we’re (the resourcing industry) still using legacy methods to attract talent, all whilst our cool cousins over in marketing are using the most advanced techniques to connect & engage with their audience. It’s now possible to 1-click buy a product through Facebook Ads. Is it a little scary? Potentially! Is it a powerful tool? Absolutely.

So here’s the question – Why are we not doing the same?

Well, that’s what we’re here to address! On September 5th we’re bringing together 20 to 30 of our community members (you folks!) to discuss this and look at how companies in the past have used advanced technology and methodologies to attract and engage with the most relevant audience possible. And the best bit? All costs are performance-based (PPC, PPH etc). The discussion will likely lead in talk around the process and delivery, amongst other things!

Iain Wills (Director of the UK’s Largest Job Aggregator, Adzuna) will be discussing marketing techniques and getting the right mix of candidate sources. Over the last 20 years Iain has spent most of his time working in the digital recruitment advertising space, at a variety of; job boards [reed.co.uk, Jobsgopublic], publishers [Emap, Trinity Mirror, RBI] and tech solutions [Powermeeter, Adzuna]. He’s currently advocating performance-based advertising at Adzuna.

Iain will address….
– How to balance quality and quantity for volume hires
– Why planning is so instrumental
– Measuring the ROI on these techniques
– What alternatives are out there to traditional job board methods

Plus much more as we dig into how companies use smart marketing to connect with their audience.

With breakfast on us, some peer to peer learning and a promotion for attendees to give some of the new methods a try, it’s one not to be missed!
