Assessment & Selection  ·
Browns Covent Garden

About the Event

At this event we will cover:

  • How to use data in your assessment process
  • How to make your company understand the benefits of using digital assessment technologies
  • How to find the right online assessment tool to integrate into your process
  • How to fight against the CV and competency-based tests and interviews
  • How to incorporate unconscious bias in your interviews
  • How to define what GOOD looks like for your company and how to know if a candidate if ‘culture fit’
  • How to create a comfortable environment for uncomfortable conversations

There are a myriad of options available to resourcing functions when it comes to assessing if someone is the right fit for your organisation, and there is one constant which is used universally – the interview. This event will be split into two clear parts, looking at different technology and assessment types through a series of impact presentations, and then deep diving into the best practice in the one constant element, the interview.

Assessing talent today should no longer be based on a ‘gut feel’. Subjective processes will often lead to high attrition and short tenures. The key is obtaining data which can highlight applicants who have the capabilities, potential and ‘values fit’ to succeed in your organisation. With a range of point and platform solutions available we will provide attendees with an understanding of the market as it stands, and begin to outline the best assessment types for different organisations and roles.

The Venue

Lively, vibrant and eclectic, Covent Garden is in the heart of the West End, surrounded by theatres, galleries, shops and landmarks. Once the Westminster County Court building and now elegantly converted into a bar and restaurant, Browns is close to all the main theatres and our pre- and post-theatre suppers are extremely popular. The once Courtroom has now become the house to our events.
