Developing employer brands in challenging sectors

About the Talk

In this two-part series; Sarah Sturgess spoke at our breakfast event on employer branding in general but more importantly developing them in challenging sectors. Challenging sectors are those organisations that find it difficult to attract and retain the talent that they have. Sarah focuses on skill shortages and why is this happening, looking at some of the key causes of this – looking deeper into the construction, technology and healthcare sectors.

Following Sarah Carl du Plessis spoke with Sarah to go through their employer brand development with SMRS with an independent NHS trust to build the ‘Whole hearted not faint hearted’ campaign. Carl explains the impact that this had on the business, not only to attract and retain talent but also for the recruiters and staff within the organisation to be united behind a single – well delivered campaign that they are proud of.
